Specification Sheet
Model 105 Sigma-Delta Counts-to-Volts Converter
-
-
-
OVERVIEW
-
The Model 105 is a positive edge triggered counts-to-volts
converter with a range of 0 to 380 KHz. The analog output is
scaled to 1 volt at 200 KHz. Resolution can be as good as
one count per half second when used with a sufficiently quiet
high resolution A/D converter. The maximum voltage output
is 2 volts. (380 KHz = 1.9 volts.)
The filter time constant for the Model 105 is 0.5 seconds. It settles
to 18 bits in 4 seconds after an instantaneous full-scale step.
-
LINEARITY
-
Linearity is typically 0.001% of full scale.
-
POWER REQUIREMENT
-
+12 to 15 volts (regulated) at 15 ma and -12
to 15 volts (regulated) at 1 ma.
-
